Your data
Delete your account
Remove your PaddleHub account and personal data at any time — from inside the app, or by request.
Last updated: 28 June 2026
You can permanently delete your PaddleHub account and the personal data associated with it. There are two ways to do it.
Option 1 — Delete it in the app (fastest)
- Sign in to PaddleHub (the app or paddlehub.app).
- Go to Settings.
- Under the Danger zone, tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account and profile are removed right away, and the associated personal data is deleted as described below.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can no longer sign in — for example, you have already uninstalled the app — email us and we'll delete your account for you:
- Email: info@paddlehub.app
- Subject: "Delete my account"
- From: the email address registered to your PaddleHub account (so we can verify the request), and include your registered mobile number if you have one.
We verify ownership and then delete the account. Requests are actioned within 30 days, usually much sooner.
Delete only some of your data (and keep your account)
You don't have to delete your whole account to remove data. You can update or clear much of your information yourself in Settings (for example, edit your profile or remove your photo). To request deletion of specific personal data while keeping your account, email us at info@paddlehub.app describing what you'd like removed. We action verified requests within 30 days.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove your personal information, including:
- Your name, email address, mobile number and password.
- Your player profile — city/region, gender, self-rating/skill level, and any linked DUPR ID.
- Your uploaded content, such as profile photo and event photos you added.
- Your notification subscriptions and account settings.
What may be retained
For legal, security and integrity reasons, a limited set of records may be retained after your account is deleted, and only for as long as required before being deleted or irreversibly anonymised:
- Records we are legally or financially required to keep (for example, tax and transaction/audit records where a paid transaction occurred).
- Competition integrity data — historical match results and standings may be retained in an anonymised form (no longer linked to you personally) so that past tournament brackets and rankings remain accurate.
None of the retained data is used to re-identify you or to contact you.
