Refund & Cancellation Policy
When you can cancel, what's refundable, and how refunds are processed.
Last updated: 28 June 2026
PaddleHub facilitates payments between players and Providers (clubs, organizers and coaches). Because the underlying service is delivered by the Provider, refund eligibility depends on the type of transaction and the Provider's stated terms, as set out below. All eligible refunds are returned to your original payment method via our payment gateway.
1. Tournament entries
- Before registration closes: you may cancel your entry for a refund of the entry fee, less any non-refundable platform/gateway charges.
- After registration closes / once the draw is seeded: entries are generally non-refundable, as your slot and seeding affect the event. The organizer may allow an exception at their discretion.
- If the organizer cancels or reschedules the event: you are entitled to a full refund of the entry fee, or you may choose to retain your spot in the rescheduled event.
2. Court bookings
- Cancel at least 12 hours before the slot: eligible for a refund of the booking amount, less any non-refundable platform/gateway charges.
- Cancel within 12 hours, or no-show: generally non-refundable, as the slot is held for you and removed from public availability.
- If the club cancels the slot (closure, maintenance, double-booking): you receive a full refund.
3. Coaching sessions
- Before the coach confirms: you may cancel a pending request for a full refund.
- After confirmation, cancelled at least 24 hours before the session: eligible for a refund less non-refundable charges.
- Cancelled within 24 hours, or no-show: generally non-refundable.
- If the coach cancels: you receive a full refund or may reschedule.
4. PaddleHub Pro subscription
- PaddleHub Pro renews automatically. You can cancel anytime — cancellation stops future renewals and your benefits continue until the end of the current billing period.
- Subscription fees already charged for the current period are non-refundable, except where required by law.
5. Platform & gateway fees
The 5% platform fee and payment-gateway charges cover the cost of operating the Platform and processing your payment. Where a refund is issued, these charges may be non-refundable unless the cancellation is due to the Provider or to PaddleHub.
6. How to request a refund
Cancel from the relevant screen in the app (your booking, registration or session), or contact us at info@paddlehub.app with your account email and the order/booking reference. We'll confirm eligibility and process the refund.
7. Refund timeline
Approved refunds are initiated promptly and typically reflect in your account within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
8. Disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly — this is usually faster than a bank chargeback. See our Contact page.
